Assalamualaikum.
We meet again. Alhamdulillah. So how was your day? Cliche sungguh soalan. Me? yeah, macam biasa. Actually the word "macam biasa" is "macam luar biasa".
Anyway.
Have you ever heard of "mountain line?"
nope?
Of course lah. I yang invent. Muahaha. ok -,-.

So here is about mountain line. This is the best resemblance I can give to you guys how my iman level are.
Sometimes it is at its lowest, I have to struggle 'giler-giler' to go up and reach the peak, at which my Iman is at the highest. To climb up and reaching the peak is not easy. It fact it is tougher than hiking the mountain itself.
Hiking the mountain require strength and sweat. A lot of sweat. And there is full of hopes to be able to reach to the highest peak, in which you get to see amazing view.
The theory is almost the same if I were to relate it with to "righteous path" . To gain the highest level of Iman & taqwa. The difference is that it requires different kind of strength. It is more to inner strength. And instead of sweat, the one that will running is our tear. Mostly because we are really really really in need of His Mercy and forgiveness.
I've been in this mountain line. When I started my climb from the ground, indeed it need a lot of inner strength. I have to push myself , have to lower my ego and the hardest part is to let go of something that makes me stop from reaching to its peak ( things that makes me far away from Him) .
And after I reach the peak, everything falls at right place. I feel inner peace and self happiness. And nothing can let down of me because I believe Allah is always there.
But since it is a mountain line. The line will have some decline. I will not always be on top of the peak. Sometimes my Iman goes down, back from the bottom. And that is why when I've start questioning " Why do I feel empty . Why can't I feel the Iman that I have before? "
That is life if we decide to be in this "righteous path"
Because Allah made it that way. Our Iman won't stay stagnant. It will have ups and down. Just like the shape of Mountain.
Because?
Hope.
When we start from the bottom , we put high hopes in Allah to have Mercy on us. We pray hard. We read Quran because you have hopes in Allah's Mercy.
And when we reach at the peak , we gain His Mercy. We feel His love.
But then suddenly, our iman drop. We are at the bottom level again.
So we put hopes back again to Allah. To always be near to Allah. Our prayer improve than the last time. We read Quran better than before.
If lets say our Iman is at stagnant. No ups and down.
There will be no hopes to Allah. We won't push our self to gain His Mercy because we already feel enough. We think we don't need Allah. We feel completely just perfect . That is Syaitan's attitude. It is called riya' .
That is the solely reason, Syaitan was kick out from Jannah. So Alhamdulillah, Allah made us this way. Allah will sometimes put a dip in our iman. To test our Iman certainly.
Yes, I've failed a lot of time and almost give up when there seems to be no way.
Im not an all good person. We all do.
But Alhamdulillah. Allah protects me. InsyaAllah Allah protects you to.

To be near Him.
